ADVERB CLAUSE OF RESULT – Mệnh đề trạng ngữ 1.Adverb clause with “ so”: ( vì vậy, do đó, cho nên ): là một liên từ (conjuntion) dùng để diễn đạt kết quả của một sự việc hoặc hành động So + result ( vì + kết quả/ hậu quả) Ex: Hoa worked hard, so she passed her exam [result]. (she passed the exam because she worked hard.[reason]) 2.Adverb clause with “ so / such that” ( đến nỗi mà ) a. so + adjective / adverb + that Jim is so intelligent that he always understands what I say. She is so lazy that she doesn’t want to study at all. b. such + noun + that She is such a good student that all her teachers like her. They are such beautiful pictures that I want to buy them all. 3.Adverb clause with “ so much / many / few / little + noun + that” a. so much + uncountable noun + that: nhiều đến nổi I have so much money that I don’t know what to do with it. b. so little + uncountable noun + that: it đến nổi She eats so little food that she weighs only 40 kilos c. so many + countable noun + that: nhiều đến nổi I have so many friends that I can remember all their names. d. so few + countable noun + that : ít đến nổi There were so few people that we couldn’t lift the box.
