One or two weeks before Tet, all people try to come back home and prepare for the Tet. They go to the market to buy new clothes, sweets, coconut jam, melon seeds and food to make Chung cakes. They also redecorate their house by painting the wall, buying peach blossom and apricot blossoms. On Tet holiday, people have many recreational activities. Young persons take part in the traditional games such as: tug of war, cooking rice, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. Adults will give lucky money to children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things for their family. We should be always happy to welcome our friends home and shouldn’t bring home a black cat on Tet. I really love Tet because it’s a good time for family gatherings and enjoying special food.
