Nếu vế trước khẳng định thì vế sau phủ định và ngược lại. khẳng định phủ định ___ , ___ phủ định khẳng định - Hai vế phải cùng thì. - Vế sau chỉ dùng: trợ động từ/ to be/ động từ thiếu khuyết . Không dùng động từ thường. - Vế sau chỉ dùng đại từ nhân xưng chủ ngữ. - Vế sau phải đảo ngữ (Chủ ngữ đứng cuối là I, You, We, They, She, He, It, there khụng được dựng danh từ).
